"Every parting gives a foretaste of death, every reunion a hint of the resurrection."
~Arthur Schopenhauer

Months ago, I wrote a bit of short fiction titled "Class Reunion."  I liked it, but it just didn't quite click with some editors.  Or, as often happens, it clicked but something better elbowed it out of the way.  Each time it was declined, I would consider retiring it.  Then I would tweak it a little and send it forth again, resurrected.

When I got the latest "thanks so much for your submission" e-mail from Stripped Lit 500, I assumed it was going to have the dreaded "...however..." in it somewhere.

But, Margaret, the editor, surprised me with some good news.  I'll have more to say later, but it looks like "Class Reunion" might have gone through its final resurrection!
