A New Proverb

I am happy to report that one of my poems, "A New Proverb" was accepted for web publication in Ancient Paths Literary Magazine.


Dear Michael,

Your poem “A New Proverb" has been accepted for inclusion in Ancient Paths Online, which is published as a regularly updated Facebook page.  Ancient Paths publishes a select piece of literature, either a new poem or work of flash fiction, at least once per week.

Your work will appear in early July. 

Our mission is to reach as many people as possible with the power of poetry and fiction.

Once, I was on a men's retreat in the woods, and I was asked to write a new psalm.  After hours of thinking, meditation, and prayer, I came up with one.  I was remembering that experience when I decided to write "A New Proverb."  When it is published in July, I hope you enjoy it.

While I have been writing poetry for a long time, this is the first time anyone has decided that others should see it.

I am beyond happy, and I will update you sometime in July when the blessed event occurs.
